NYC Summer Activities Calendar 2022

Each year I create a list of possible summer activities in and around NYC.

Most are free, but a few have costs (for example the road/day trips).

There are many more fun activities that are not yet on this list, like a day trip upstate, various festivals, hot air balloon festival/ Burlesque show, beach days, and other events, so I will update it periodically.

Prospect Park (Grand Army Plaza entrance, stick to road on the left. We’ll be under the trees just after the bridge.

Have you heard of Diner en Blanc? People dress in fancy white clothing and bring gorgeous linens, candle-abras and fine china and meet at a secret location. Its pretty exclusive and there’s a long waiting list, and IF you can get accepted, you can buy a ticket. Let’s just make our own.

Everyone please dress in white/ off white, fancy af, bring your own meal, dishes/ table/ blanket/ and let’s party! *Musical instruments if you have would be extra lovely, or we can play from Spotify.
